Day by Day Itinerary

1
Day 1

Arrival in Nairobi - Karibu Kenya

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will meet you for a fast-track experience through immigration and transfer you to Hemming Ways Nairobi. Check in and relax after your international flight—enjoy the  pool, spa, or fine dining restaurants. This evening, gather for a welcome dinner where your safari coordinator will provide a comprehensive briefing about the exciting days ahead and answer any questions.

Day 2

Fly to Amboseli - Gateway to Kilimanjaro

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson Airport for your scenic 40-minute flight to Amboseli with spectacular views of the Rift Valley and Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon landing, enjoy your first game drive en route to Amboseli Sopa Loddge, watching for elephant herds, lions, and diverse birdlife. After lunch and settling into your luxury tent with Kilimanjaro views, head out for an afternoon game drive to explore Amboseli's open plains where excellent wildlife spotting awaits against Africa's iconic mountain backdrop.

Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Rise before dawn for an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Kilimanjaro reveals itself before clouds build up. Enjoy a bush breakfast under an acacia tree followed by continued exploration including Observation Hill for panoramic vistas and the swamps where hippos and water birds congregate. After lunch and leisure time at camp, embark on a guided walking safari with an armed ranger to discover animal tracks, insects, and plants from a ground-level perspective, then enjoy sundowners in the bush before returning for dinner.

Amboseli to Olpajeta Conservancy - Laikipia's Hidden Gem

After breakfast and a final morning game drive, fly to Olpajeta Conservancy in Laikipia where the rugged, diverse landscape hosts endangered species including Grevy's zebra, wild dogs, and rhino.

 Following lunch and a conservation briefing about the conservancy's anti-poaching initiatives, explore different habitat zones on an afternoon game drive before experiencing the thrill of a night drive to spot nocturnal creatures like leopards, caracals, and aardvarks.

Ol Pajeta Wilderness & Conservation Experiences

Begin with a walking safari guided by Samburu warriors who'll demonstrate traditional tracking techniques and share their semi-nomadic lifestyle stories. After breakfast and midday relaxation, visit the impressive anti-poaching dog unit to meet the trained detection dogs and handlers who protect endangered species. Continue with an afternoon game drive searching for rare species, then stop for sundowners at a scenic viewpoint before returning to camp for dinner and campfire stories.

Ol Pajeta - Your Choice Adventure Day

Choose your morning adventure—game drive, horseback riding, camel trekking, or trail running—followed by a bush breakfast. Return to camp for your included one-hour spa treatment with panoramic wilderness views, then enjoy lunch and leisure time. Your afternoon can include another game drive or a cultural visit to a Samburu village where you'll witness ceremonial dancing, browse beadwork crafts, and gain insight into traditional pastoralist life before your special farewell dinner at Loisaba.

Day 7

Fly to Masai Mara - Into the Heart of Africa

After breakfast and a final morning game drive to Loisaba airstrip, fly to the legendary Masai Mara where the aerial perspective reveals vast rolling grasslands. Your game drive transfer to Maasai Mara Sopa Lodge in the Mara Triangle likely encounters abundant wildlife—this ecosystem supports some of Africa's densest populations of lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After settling into your riverside luxury tent and lunch, set out for your first Mara game drive where impressive sightings are almost guaranteed in the open terrain.

Full Day Masai Mara Game Viewing

Departure - Safari's End, Memories Forever

Enjoy your final African sunrise and breakfast in the Mara before transferring to Keekorok Airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi (45 minutes). Upon landing at Wilson Airport, transfer to a day room at a comfortable hotel where you can freshen up, relax, and organize photos before your evening international departure. If time permits, visit local craft markets or Nairobi attractions. Later, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport with assistance from our representative for a smooth check-in process as you carry home transformative memories of Kenya's wilderness.
