Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total safari cost. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to departure. Full payment is required for bookings made within 30 days of departure.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellation Policy

• • 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administration fee
• • 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund
• • Less than 30 days: No refund, but credit note valid for 12 months
• • No-shows: No refund

3. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all safari participants. Insurance must cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal liability.

4. Health Requirements

Clients must ensure they have all required vaccinations. Yellow fever vaccination is mandatory for entry into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended.

5. Passports and Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports (minimum 6 months validity) and obtaining necessary visas. Blue Cactus Safaris can provide guidance but is not responsible for visa issues.

6. Liability and Safety

While we take every precaution, safaris involve inherent risks. Blue Cactus Safaris is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control, including wildlife encounters, accidents, or force majeure events.

7. Changes to Itinerary

We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to weather, road conditions, park closures, or other unforeseen circumstances. Alternative arrangements of equal value will be provided where possible.

8. Conduct

Clients must follow guide instructions and park regulations. We reserve the right to terminate services without refund if behavior endangers others or violates laws.
